This morning I had an U/S before the scheduled transfer just to see if the fluid was still there, and it was.
Dr recommended we don't move forward with the transfer because with fluids in the uterus the outcome might not be good.
He decided to do a Hysteroscopy instead and found two uterine synechiae, meaning two adhesions or scar tissues that were forming a cavity and accumulating the liquid.
Now I have to have these removed. If they can't squeeze me in for this wednesday I'll have to wait until August 29.
More waiting ......

Oh no! I'm sorry to hear this... it's very disappointing news although I hope it's an easy fix and you can move forward with the transfer soon.
ReplyDeleteI am so sorry. That totally sucks. I hope that you get in right away to get it fixed so that you can move on soon.
ReplyDeleteugggg. I am so sorry. I had a lot of unexpected delays in my two IVF cycles and I know it's hard to handle. But others told me what I am about to tell you: you want your body to be in the best possible condition to house those embabies. Be patient as best you can. In the long run, an extra few weeks will not matter if it results in those embryos sticking around. Your doctors know what they're doing, they WANT you to get prego, and they are working hard to make sure your body is ready.
ReplyDeleteI am so so so sorry for the delay, though. My own delays sent me to a dark space. I hope you aren't there and / or can come out of there and know this cycle is still very alive.
That has got to be frustrating!!!
ReplyDeleteOh no! I'm so sorry to hear this! I hope they can squeeze you in this week. *hugs*
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry I had a very similar situation right before my 2nd Ivf. I pressured the dr to transfer anyway and didn't conceive. I had the surgery prior to the next cycle. They did find more than they thought and removed a horrible cyst. All the following cycles all the transfers did implant. I know it's more waiting but you will have a beautif clean slate to work with and for your embies to implant I know it sucks to wait but it will pay off. Hold on and don't give up.
